J. got invited to a Fancy Nancy birthday party by her friend G. Her J. is all gussied up showing off jewelry originally worn by her great grandmother M. We had not read the books before hand but we've read two several times since then. Looks like an investment in ribbons, bows, ruffles and assorted fancy finds from the local thrift store would be a good idea.
